OREGON'S SECRET WEAPON

Anyone watching the OU game Saturday has no doubt the Pac 10 cronies pulled off one of the greatest heist in modern football. This kinda of stuff use to happen before games were broadcast, but how could it happen "in the year 2006". Despite 70,000 plus people on hand, INSTANT REPLAY, and millions viewing at home, the officiating crew ignores what happened. If they had only seen it live maybe forgiveness could be in order, but denying clear video evidence to serve up a win to the home game........somebody's got to pay!  After spending the better part of the evening beating my head against the wall I finally calmed down enough to begin thinking about the situation - the biggest debacle this young century! 

I started to ask myself a few questions. Who is this mysterious person who sits high in the sky ruling over his football kingdom?  What type of person possesses the balls to stand up to the Sooner nation or the lack there of to execute so willingly the plan of the Pac-10 also known as Satan. What type of person has no trace of personal integrity or pride for their work?  Is this person the monster that they appear to be or simply a helpless victim with no backbone who is being preyed upon by pure evil?

After asking myself these and many more equally complex questions I felt there was only one course of action left to pursue. I began a journey to uncover the man or monster responsible for these terrible events. A journey that led me across the great divide of the super information highway. After a long extensive search and with the help of my guide Al Gore (who invented the SIH otherwise known as the internet) I finally came upon the horrible sight of that which I sought. The one who sits in the distant booth, never seen on camera, not known to the media or fans, until now. I felt it was my solemn duty to reveal the one who made the Sooners faithful bend over and grab their knees. I must warn you it is not a pretty sight. Is the thing a man or a monster? I will let you be the judge!

With football season inching closer with each passing day, I thought a few of you might like this little video!  Unfortunately Bomar (from here on simply refered to as "freakin moron") has put alittle damper on many Sooner fans and to make matters worse more stories continue to come out about freaking moron. YEP, turns out freakin moron wasn't all that impressed by the national championship QB and now his FORMER coach Josh Huepel. Until freakin moron learns to beat Texas Tech he needs to keep his piehole shut. Also it appears freakin moron is so stupid he brags to pretty blonde bank tellers about his illegal activity. We all knew freakin moron was a pitiful little alchoholic, but it turns out this was the least of his problems. I always thought he might be bad news when I saw freakin moron's hair for the first time, he looked like a mamma's boy. I remember I use to think freakin moron was tough and cool when he ran straight into a 250 lb LB that smelt like a decomposing gorilla, but now I know freakin moron was just that dang stupid! So with football season just around the corner I can't wait to support Mr. Thompson this season. For better or for worse, we know that #12 is all class, mature, intelligent, and a real leader. Mr. Thompson will earn any money coming his way, and we won't see him falling down the steps of the Ford Center (or falling out of moving truck as I am sure he would eventually copy cat this infamous stunt), or selling out the Sooner faithful in his attempt to impress some girl (more than likely some guy) and get in thier pants! Finally there is only one thing left to say to freakin moron - C-Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

6 Years of Utopia??

We just celebrated our sixth anniversary on July 14th, and I came to the realization that I have gained little knowledge or understanding of women.  After six years of living under the same roof with my wonderful wife, airing all our little secrets, so many things still remain a mystery!

Here are a few examples: Why can a woman not understand the magnitude of OU winning every football game or the significance of a Game 7 involving the Spurs? What about the incredible entertainment that is Ultimate Fighting? I am not done yet, trust me, the list goes on. Women seem to not know - that a beautiful Sunday afternoon includes NFL football; that doing it yourself (whether you know what you are doing or not) is always the best thing; that I am NEVER lost, and yes I know a shortcut......and I will stop there due to time restrictions.

One last thing my wife may not understand - That she is the most important woman in the world to me, my best friend, always giving me a reason to look forward to every day, the foundation that allows me to stand up a proud, strong, and optimistic person, always knowing what I need whether its a laugh, a word of encouragement, a kick in the rear, or other more private things that I will keep to myself.

Just think without this wonderful woman in my life I would be laying naked on the couch, stuffing my mouth full of twinkies, depressed and unable to face life. Why?...because Texas beat OU, the lousy Mavericks defeated the Spurs in game 7, NFL football has lost its appeal, yes even the awesome sight of one man smashing in another's face and blood squirting everywhere would fail to move me from my seat. 

While I may have little understanding of the female species, I do know this. A wonderful woman gives a man perspective, hope, reason, and joy in this life that at times can be so hard.  So as six years have past, I look forward to the next 60 years of marital bliss!
